    Back to basics

    I am a man in my eighties, and very clued up on things electronic. However, I just don't have a need for all the wonders of which today's art phones are capable. I have, therefore, abandoned mine for the Nokia 6555. It is a small, slim, flip phone which allows me to carry out the basic tasks for which the mobile was invented to do, plus a few extras. It is also light enough to slip into even a shirt pocket without showing unduly. For me it is almost perfect, although I find battery life is not as good as I would like.

    elegant,inexpensive and easy to use phone

    likeness or dislikeness of something it depends on your demands.as i'm not too young and i want it just as a tool of communication(i'm not very interested in all other functions phones usually have),it is the right one for me.small,simple menu,good duration of battery and big clear letters and numbers.something very important that made me to buy it was seller's willingness to provide on its menu my local language(greek).if someone feels like me i recommend it.

    disappointed

    I loved the shape and style of the phone. The phone itself is sleek and just as it is described with clear precise buttons and easy to use. However I am hugely disappointed in this purchase as the battery life of the phone only lasts approximately two hours at best even when fully charged and this does not even mean talk time, the battery seems to give up even when left on standby meaning the phone has to be charged at least three times daily. Based on the problems with the battery I would not purchase this phone again.

    Could do with a little bit more powerfull battery.

    Telephone itself is good, easy to handle as you would expect from a Nokia. Camera has a good picture as well. The only downside is the battery. It lasts about 4 days with a very small usage.

    Poor to non existent signal on 3 network with this phone - had to scrap it.

    Loved the look of this phone and haven't had a flip phone for ages so thought I'd give it a go. Obviously non flip phones are a lot easier and quicker to access. Main problem with this phone for me was a very poor signal, not experienced with other phones on same network in same places. As a result most of the time I didn't have a signal, couldn't use the phone, battery drained quickly - and within a couple of weeks I dumped it and bought another slide phone.
