Disruptive phones of our time. This is the first of the Nokia Models, as you know it. Back in 2002 I felt in love with its design and interface. They were so innovative, that no Nokia user could believe that it is a genuine Nokia phone. The screen size, input methods and multi-tasking environment were not seen before. This was actually Nokia's experimental phone, but the quality of materials used and reliability of the software was outmatching today models. When I first used the phone, I got so excited with the S60 platform that I even started considering learning how to write applications for it. This was the time when Symbian S60 platform was released in it's 0.9 version, which almost means a pre-release version. Similarly as with my earliest Java-enabled phone, my enthusiasm diminished under overwhelming complexity. I bought lots of handy applications and quite a few really cool games. Some of them I played with Magda over Bluetooth when I got Nokia 6600 soon after purchasing this one.Read full review
It is a legend in 2001 to 2002. At the time he was madly expensive and prestigious. Now cheap and therefore more attractive. He super reliable. Smartphone aesthetically beautiful and perfect. These things never get old. I want to buy another one or two of your smartphone.
I think this phone is abosoloutly amazing. I think that the look of it is nice and unique. The interface is nice and user friendly and it even has it's own OS System. The Java and GPRS is very good and handy. Over the GPRS you can download the Video Recorder which is outstanding, you can record up to 30 seconds. The polyphonic ringtones are lovely and clear, so you can always hear your phone ringing. The games are really good, with nice colour display graphics. The camera is amazing quality with the Night Mode, for use in Dim light but is not half as effictive as a flash, but still very good. The zoom after you take a photo is outstanding so you can have a full screen photo! You can't normally get that on other phones. I' m very happy with this phone and i'm going to keep hold of it for a long, long time!Read full review
What a Truly brilliant mobile. It has style by the bucket loads, it is easy to use and has everything you could wish for in a mobile. It is unusual, now getting quite rare to obtain.I purchased one second hand on Ebay.It was well worth it.This has to be one of the best kept secret's for years. You can still get Original Fascia's,batteries etc for it.I feel that this mobile will be a future Classic without any doubt. It is light, small not compact and to use on daily bases is easy. The battery life is good.It has a great camera, has bluetooth, has several extras such as calculator, recorder, clock. It has soft keys where the function of these changes according to what you are doing. It also has a light sensor. This is used to connect the balance of your pictures when using the camera.Marks out of 10. 10 out of 10. It is that good. A truly CLASSIC MOBILE from the Nokia people. Connecting People To People. Thankyou Nokia. AMAZING MOBILE.Read full review
The Nokia 7650 was nokias entry phone to the s60 series. Its main problem is its lack of a memory card slot and its paltry 4mb of shared memory. The camera is only 0.3mp but it does its job. As an early phone, its size is rather large, but it is sturdy. The 7650 is also prone to system errors and faults, if it works its fine, but when it goes awry, it can be an expensive and lengthy repair process. All in all, i would say as a starter phone or a spare for work, its quite good, but its lack of features leaves it less than ample in todays market. Id recommend one if you can get it for under £20.
